Our all day trip starts from Athens and the location that you have set. Your driver will wait for you at least half an hour earlier and he will help you with your luggage. Moreover you can ask for coffee and snack which will wait you at the meeting point*.

During our trip we pass through the small towns of Thiva, Livadia and the famous village of Arachova. You will travel with English speaking and well trained driver along the highway road to the mountain of Parnassos.

In antiquity, Delphi was a famous city, as it was there where the most famous temple of God Apollo was located.
In antiquity Delphi was known as the “navel” of the earth. According to ancient mythology, Zeus sent two eagles flying from the ends of the universe (east and west) to find the navel of the world. After their long travel, the path of the eagles crossed over Delphi where the navel of Gaia (Earth) was found.
The temple of Delphi was dedicated to Apollo and Pithia could listen and interpretate his will and Kings were arriving from around the world to hear her prophesies.

After arriving at the Archaelogical site of Delphi we will visit the ancient Temple of Apollo, God of Sun and the Museum of Delphi.
The Museum of Delphi hosts some of the most spectacular ancient findings as the Charioteer, the Sphinx and the statue of Antinous. After our visit to the archaeological site you can have lunch at a traditional Greek tavern and then we will begin our return trip.

On our way to Athens, we will pass through the village of Arachova and take a short walk at its traditional paths and enjoy the majestic view on the rock, upon which the village was build. Arachova is the most famous winter resort as it is built on the southern slope of Mount Parnassus and is also known for its famous wine and cheese variety and also for its hand-woven carpets and rugs. After our walk in Arachova we will start our trip back to Athens**.
