General Terms of Service

CALL CAR Limited Liability Company

By accessing, browsing and using the CALLCAR website or the Call Car applications to use the Comfort or Van products and/or by accepting and/or completing a reservation using the Call Car application to use the Comfort products or Van, Customer acknowledges and agrees that it has read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions set forth below, which constitute an Agreement between CALLCAR Limited Partnership (“CALLCAR” or “Intermediary”) and Customer.

CALLCAR will notify the Customer by email or through a notification in the Call Car application in the event that it changes these terms and conditions. The Customer will be considered to have accepted this change as long as he continues to use the CALLCAR website to make trips.

DEFINITIONS

"Agreement" means the agreement concluded between the Mediator and the User, in order for the User to have access to the Mediation Services.

  1. "Call Car Application" means the Call Car mobile application that allows the User to access the Intermediary Services for the purpose of searching for and submitting on-demand requests for Transportation Services.
  2. "Territory" means the geographical area of ​​the island of Santorini, in which the Transportation Companies and their Drivers are able to offer Transportation Services.
  3. "Transportation Company" means a licensed car rental company contracted with CALLCAR that executes transportation requests with private passenger vehicles with a driver.
  4. "Transportation Services" means the provision of transportation services to the User through Intermediation Services in the Territory, offered by the Transportation Company and its Drivers using the Vehicles.
  5. "Intermediary Services" or "CALLCAR Services" means the electronic services provided by the Intermediary through a digital technology platform sublicensed by Call Car B.V., being an on-demand intermediary, and related services that allow Carriers to search, receive and fulfill on-demand requests for Transportation Services submitted by Users seeking Transportation Services.
  6. "User" or "Customer" means an end user authorized by Call Car B.V. to use the Call Car application for the purpose of obtaining Mediation Services and Transportation Services.
  7. "User Information" means the information about a User made available by the Intermediary to the Transportation Company or Driver in connection with the User's request to use the Intermediation Services and Transportation Services, which information may include the name of the User, pickup location, contact details, Greek ID/passport number and photo.
  8. "Vehicle" means any vehicle of the Transport Company that meets the applicable legal conditions, as well as the requirements set by the Mediator for a vehicle.

ABOUT CALLCAR - INTERMEDIARY

CALLCAR Limited Liability Company is a limited liability company, registered in Athens, which holds the necessary licenses in accordance with Law 4530/2018 for the provision of Mediation Services between the Customer, who is a passenger seeking to receive Transportation Services, and the Transportation Company , which is a licensed car rental company that fulfills transportation requests with private passenger vehicles with a driver.

SUBJECT

The CALLCAR Services are performed solely on the basis of these general terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions apply to all future business relationships with the Customer, even if not expressly re-agreed. Modifications of the conditions, in particular deviation by the Customer of the terms and conditions, are hereby rejected. Silence on the part of CALLCAR regarding the deviation of the terms and conditions should not be considered as consent, even if CALLCAR performs without reservation.

 

BOOKING REQUESTS SUBMITTED USING THE CALLCAR SERVICES

As an Intermediary, CALLCAR mediates between the Client and the Transport Companies by offering transport services with private passenger vehicles with a driver.

  1. a) Conclusion of the contract for Intermediation Services and Transportation Services between the Customer and CALLCAR after sending a travel request through the Call Car application

When the Customer sends a reservation request to CALLCAR through the Call Car application, the contract for the provision of Intermediation Services and Transportation Services is concluded as long as the respective Driver of the Transportation Company contracted with CALLCAR accepts the travel request.

Upon conclusion of the contract, (i) a summary thereof that will include the main characteristics of the Transportation Service that the Customer will receive using Intermediary Services (including the Driver's name, the Customer's name, the Customer's ID/passport number, Vehicle number plate, vehicle model, price, booking starting point, destination, booking start time and booking end time) will be created electronically and shared with the Intermediary and the Driver and (ii) the Customer will receive the driver's name, license plate number

vehicle, the rating of the respective Driver and its location.

 

PRICES AND TERMS OF PAYMENT FOR RESERVATIONS FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES USING CALL CAR.

For reservations requested by the Customer from CALLCAR using the Call Car application, the price, which consists of the fees for the Transportation Services, will be charged in the name and on behalf of CALLCAR using the credit card indicated by the Customer in the POS - mobile of the Call Car driver (including any taxes and late fees that may be incurred).

Alternatively, the Customer can pay the price in cash to the Driver at the end of the trip. The Customer agrees that the second payment method specified by the Customer in the Call Car Application may be used as long as the primary payment method indicated has expired, is invalid or cannot be charged for other reasons.

After payment the Customer will receive a payment confirmation via email.

  • The following rates are charged for Transportation Services booked through CALLCAR using the Call Car App.
  • Minimum price: 40 euros for a minimum booking duration of 30 minutes
  • For reservations over 30 minutes or 25 kilometers:
  • Extra fee per kilometer: 1.45 Euro
  • Extra charge per minute: 0.45 Euro

5.2 In case of high demand, prices may increase. The increased price is shown in the Call Car app before the trip is ordered. Changing or adding destinations may change the price.
